About Carla Benson

Masters graduate with a distinction in Web Design and Content Planning from the University of Greenwich. In total, I have spent almost 3 years dabbling in all things web. My blend of design and front end development knowledge makes me a very flexible candidate for a role within this industry. I am passionate about design and have a a solid understanding of user-centred design. I am capable of conducting user research to discover insights that help to define the product experience and strategy. I have experience in cross examining data in order to understand the user and inform design decisions. From a more technical perspecitive, I am knowledgeable of up-to-date web standards with an excellent understanding of responsive web design, accessibility and SEO. Experienced in coding in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL and PHP. Capable of using Wordpress as a CMS. Skilled in design applications such as Figma, Whimsical and Adobe Illustrator.
