About Carla C.

I was employed with Stephen F. Austin State University for over 30 years. My accomplishments were derived from my strong attention to detail and incomparable work ethic. I developed the Residence Life business area from the ground up; creating and/or updating policies and procedures for the new business area, as needed and growth occurred. In addition, I worked closely with other departments including the controller’s office, auditing, procurement, human resources, and payroll. Experience taught me how to work within a team and function as a team leader while building strong relationships with other departments. I am a life member of the SFASU Alumni Association. I was 1 of 24 graduates in the inaugural program of Leadership SFA. I was inducted as a National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) member in 2011. I was selected as office employee of the year for 2011-12 and 2012-13. I was a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers from 2003 through 2011 and was listed in the annual member directory of International Who's Who of Professional Management in 1998 and the Manchester Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals in 2005-06.
