About Carla Clipper

I have worked in the events & marketing space for over 20 years. I began my career in Harrisburg, PA, coordinating, producing and marketing events as part of the revitalization plan of downtown Harrisburg. In 2004, I moved to Pittsburgh and began working at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center where I coordinated city-wide conventions, public shows, meetings and other special events. After leaving the Convention Center in 2012, I became active in my children’s school. I chaired several committees and served as the PTA Vice President. In 2015, I leveraged my previous events experience to begin independent event consulting. Engagements have included Farm to Table Buy Local, the Mt. Lebanon Partnership, American HealthCare Group and SouthSide Works. I have served on multiple non-profit boards in Harrisburg & Pittsburgh.
