I love to learn something new every day and contribute to purpose-driven work with broad impact. As the director of clinical practice guidelines for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE), I get to apply my extensive experience in association management, evidence-based medicine, journals and publications, education, and research to drive and grow the program in support of improving global health and patient care. The success of the guidelines program depends on cross-functional collaboration, dynamic team-building, and knowledge about operations and budgets, legal agreements and conflicts of interest, governance and board relations, membership, contract negotiation, and vendor management, among other areas. As a Certified Association Executive (CAE), I am skilled at applying systems thinking to provide effective and informed decision-making and knowledge management to achieve strategic goals. I am passionate about process improvement, change management, and policy development to transform programs, advance mission-driven strategic plans, and achieve organizational success. I also value the perspectives and contributions of each team member and enjoy shared accomplishments.
