Background
About Carla Ward
I have finally put my years of mothering and advocating to good use by becoming a Certified Doula and Childbirth Educator. This is where my heart is! I work with laboring Moms to achieve a blissful and memorable birth experience by providing education, information, advocacy, emotional and physical support during pregnancy, throughout labor and delivery, and postpartum. I am currently studying to add Pediatric Sleep Consultant to my resume! After many years in the non-profit world, I have also come home to my roots; partnering with my Dad in the family shoe repair business. Combining Dad's 75+ years experience as a master cobbler with my 20+ years, we have all bases covered in the "shoe biz". An added bonus is my son, Justin, is taking the reigns as cobbler now that Dad is retiring! Truly a family affair. Come on in and see us! If that isn't enough, I am still plying my skills as an EMT. I am Captain of the amazing Allenhurst Fire Department EMS crew and am a AHA BLS instructor.
