About Carla Yrjanson

Carla Yrjanson, CPA, is Vice President of Tax Research and Content for Thomson Reuters, Indirect and Property Tax. Carla leads the team which is responsible for delivering Global Indirect Tax Content. Carla has more than twenty years of experience specializing in transaction taxes. Carla joined Sabrix, now part of Thomson Reuters, in 2002 to jump start the critical tax research function. Since that time, she has built a world-class team, responsible for delivering global tax content to customers covering over 183 countries and over 14,500 tax jurisdictions. Previously, Carla was a Tax Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their State and Local Tax Practice assisting clients with audit defense, assessment appeals, reverse audits, voluntary disclosure agreements, and implementation of sales and use tax compliance systems. Prior to that, she was a Revenue Auditor with the State of Washington Department of Revenue for seven years. She received her MBA from Washington State University and undergraduate degree in accounting from Western Washington University. Carla is a member of the AICPA. Specialties: Global Indirect Tax
