About Carlos Cachero

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Oviedo in northern Spain. My journey with Uber commenced in 2021 as an MBA intern in the Operations team at the EMEA office. After completing my second year of MBA, I stepped into the role of Senior Strategy & Operations Manager for Southern Europe. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to reside in Spain, Dubai, Hong Kong, Paris, Amsterdam, and currently, Milan. During this time, I have gained valuable experience in diverse fields - sales, finance, business strategy, and operations. My track record reflects consistent demonstrations of leadership, analytical thinking, and strong stakeholder management skills, while maintaining a steadfast focus on achieving results. Graduating with an MBA from HEC Paris has sharpened my strategic thinking and decision-making, equipped me with the ability to solve complex problems, and instilled in me the courage to dream big and take risks. As a fun fact about me, I received the award for the best Spanish Basketball Player under 15 years old and became a semi-professional player a year later. My athletic background has further enhanced my teamwork, perseverance, desire to constantly raise the bar, and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
