About Carlos Colla

With 30 years of work in the audiovisual market, I currently perform the role of Executive Manager of Television Journalism and Sports at TV Brasil / EBC, the Brazilian Public TV. With a team of around 100 colleagues, I am responsible for planning, guiding and monitoring the news coverage of Rio de Janeiro and sports events for TV, Radio and Web, in addition to negotiating with external and internal partnerships and monitoring the convergence of media for EBC communication vehicles. At TV Brasil for over 9 years, I also worked as Artistic Content Creation Manager, where I was responsible for curating new artistic content projects for TV and Web, in addition to overseeing the scripts and artistic direction of production projects and programs internal and external. I was also TV Documentary Production Coordinator, acting as director and creator of several television series that accumulated, in this period, 10 nominations in International Festivals. I also managed and coordinated several live events such as the 2020 Paralympics Games broadcasts, Samba Schools Champions of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo Carnivals in 2017 and 2018, the 2015 Presidential Inauguration, The Brazilian September 7th Parades, as well as recording several musicals programs. Before joining TV Brasil / EBC, I worked in the Casseta e Planeta Group team, worked at TV Globo (Portal do Esporte) and was a partner in a video production company, working with a lot of important companies.
