What I do - When it comes to relays and resistors, I work with both engineers and buyers to "bridge the gap between application and specification." What do I mean by this? Well, more often than not, I speak with customers that end up using a standard off the shelf product from a competitor that's not quite right for their application. Don't get me wrong, it may do the job, but then ask yourself, why settle? I work with my customers to understand their problems and desires; encourage them to explore and customise so we have the right solution first time. This in turn not only saves them both time and money but, also gives them market leading performance within their own products. My customers feel proud that every product they make is the best it can possibly be. I'm lucky to be in a position that allows me to do this every single day! Who I am - I got into sales because I love building strong partnerships and helping people succeed. I love to dig into customer problems and solve them with different technologies. Working across multiple industries gives me the advantage of seeing how every industry creatively solves the same problems and this allows me to see trends developing in one market, which will quickly carry over into another.
