I am a mechanical engineer that after two years directing and working on my own business selling car parts to insurance companies, decided to study culinary arts following my passion for food, I became a qualified chef in 2014, starting my career in one of Dublin’s finest 5* Hotels, The Westbury Hotel, as a chef, working side to side with Michelin star experienced chefs. I was appointed as a Head Chef at HQ Restaurant in 2018, an appointment that should normally take ten years. Since then I have demonstrated a lot of passion for cooking and the development of new menus, creating operational procedures, HACCP control, Hitting financial targets, hiring and training personnel. Since 2019, I have been the Executive Head Chef of Nutbutter, where I have developed a huge interest in Health and Nutrition, creating great flexitarian dishes.
