About Carlos Paez

Mr. Carlos Paez is currently preparing to become a Deacon for the Catholic Church and is involved in several Ministries in his Parish of St Martha's Catholic Church in Kingwood, Texas. Carlos Paez is the Executive Vice President at Vinmar International Ltd. He has global responsibility for all Plastics activities and P&L. Mr. Paez has been with Vinmar for 17 years and has actively participated in expanding Vinmar’s global presence, developing long-term contractual relationships with key Petrochemical manufacturers around the globe, and building a successful team. He also plays a key role in the overall leadership and management of the company. Mr. Paez has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) in Mexico and he holds an MBA from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresas (IPADE). His professional experience includes tenure with Dow Chemical and Grupo Idesa, a leading Petrochemicals manufacturer in Mexico. Mr. Paez has held key management positions throughout his professional career and he has developed significant experience in all international commercial activities, including imports, exports, global marketing and distribution of Chemicals and Plastics.
