About Carlos Rubinstein

My name is Carlos Rubinstein, and I am currently a senior at Samueli Academy. Right now my main goal is to finish high school and see what college I will get into my goal is to go to college for 2 years then transfer to a 4 year. From there I want to study physics, more specifically theoretical physics and get a minor in astronomy. From there I would like to work in industry for a decent amount of time building up money and then retiring as a teacher or starting my own business. Outside of work and school related things I do have some hobbies that I like to do. One of my main hobbies is fishing so whenever I have some free time I go to a lake or beach and do some fishing. I also quite enjoy playing soccer. I have actually been in a handful of teams since I was little and always had a wonderful time. It may seem that I am an outside person but I am also an indoor person. I also like to stay indoors and watch TV shows or movies on Netflix and Disney+. I am also a quite active gamer I play PC, Xbox, and the switch and enjoy both of them very much Over time I have gained a handful of skills and abilities that I see helpful not only in the task at hand but also future jobs and opportunities. One such skill is being able to be a public speaker, I have found this skill to be crucial in anything I do from something as simple as going to the store to something as big as a job interview. Another skill I have learned is having good time management and multitasking. Having good time management is important especially when you are very busy you have to know how to use your time. But, sometimes that is not good enough so being able to multitask between more than one thing at a time is really helpful in either getting more stuff done or getting done faster
