I believe that education releases discovery. We make these discoveries through engaging in self-improvement, both academically and personally. Growing up, quality teachers were my solution to setbacks. These wonderful mentors showed me that educational passion and innate care are inseparable from one’s own identity. And care is the required commitment to do whatever it takes to bring forth students’ knowledge, skills, and wisdom. As my teachers believed in me, I believe that each student has the capability to develop to his/her full potential. My Promise Through dedication and years of hands-on teaching experience, I will consistently: • Utilize a leadership style that is respectful, encouraging, and demonstrative to bring out the best in people • Instill knowledge concerning the design and implementation of poignant curriculum or activity • Provide a sense of vision and a clear mission of instilling pride and of gaining trust from my school community • Serve as a resource and mentor for teachers, requiring assistance with curriculum alignment, unit development, and lesson planning • Cultivate and sustain a positive school climate, driving students toward educational and social progress and betterment • Foster a personalized environment that motivates students to do their best and inspires them to take challenges as they attain or stretch their abilities and skills • Develop students into compassionate, productive, and positive contributors to society while helping students realize their identities and strengths
