About Carly Ostergaard

Hello, I have been working with and for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for almost 8 years now. I provide in home care, while also understanding the value and importance of community inclusion. I have worked predominately with adults and the elderly population, but I have experience with children and young adults as well. I recently graduated from PSU with a BS in Health Sciences, and Pre-Occupational Therapy. I plan to become a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the future, but for now I am actively looking for other jobs in the field. I love providing direct care and support to clients, but I am also open to navigating more of the administrative side of things. I strive to promote trust, safety, advocacy, self worth, and the development of life skills in my clients.
