Carmela Mento is Psychologist, PhD in Psychiatric Science. Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology working at the Department of Biomedical and Dental Sciences and Morphofunctional Imaging, University of Messina, Italy. She is also a Clinical Psychologist, Consultant and Supervisor at the Psychiatric Unit at Policlinico University Hospital in Messina, Italy and Jungian Analyst qualified for Teaching (Center for Analytical Psychology CIPA and member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology, IAAP).The scientific publishing is centered on psychopathology, assessment and consulting in medical setting and healthcare. Expert in eating disorders, obesity assessment pre and post bariatric surgery, member of the SICOB and regional delegate for Sicily. Expert in suicide risk; aggressive and violent behaviour; violence against Health workers; psychological and gender violence; women's mental health service, affective addiction, adolescent mental health and psychache; techno-addicted behavior, autistic spectrum disorder in adults; psychotherapy and Jungian psychoanalysis.
