About Carmen Glover

My primary motivation as an author, writing coach, journalist, communications consultant, educator and mentor is to create superb, diverse content and guide others in honing their skills. I find it rewarding to write, edit and covert complex copy into seamless prose. It has been insightful to develop partnerships, nurture relationships and have my work honored by industry entities. My enduring passion is to create and share timely, useful and accurate information, develop effective communications and marketing strategies, and execute engaging and impactful brand, social media, digital marketing and fundraising campaigns. I launched Penchant Media in July 2021 to address the paucity of quality content, specifically information that is relevant to the oft-ignored Black community. I am inspired to consult with clients on projects from concept to creation. While serving as an executive on various non-profit boards previously, I had opportunities to lead successful mentoring, publicity and fundraising campaigns. Spurred by a lifelong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and advocacy, I champion awareness of issues relevant to chronically underserved communities. As a results-driven educator and mentor, I guide students and clients to eliminate achievement and opportunity gaps so that each person is equipped to soar.
