About Carmen Levis

I am an experienced dietitian with a master’s degree in public health and social policy. I am passionate about improving the health of populations through equitable and sustainable solutions, in addition to advancing human rights in health. I have demonstrated experience leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs, and building the capacity of international focal points to strengthen regulatory food policies in North and South America. I also have significant experience establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivering presentations on various public health topics in primary and post-secondary settings, and developing communication materials, such as reports, briefing notes and technical papers for multiple audiences.
