About Carmite Cohen

After 25 years of experience in film marketing, publicity and promotions, event planning, merchandising and licensing and home entertainment I've learned a thing or two about show biz, people, how to plan the perfect event and how to get a message out there. ​ During my career at Alliance Atlantis, Alliance Films and Entertainment One Films, I marketed and promoted over 1500 of the most memorable films of the last two decades giving me a front row seat to the inner workings of the entertainment industry. I love the movie industry as much now as I did when I first started. So much has changed—from technology to consumer behaviours and marketing—but at the core, people are still drawn to a good story. As a marketing and PR veteran, my specialty is to elevate the messaging of those stories through a variety of creative strategies, helping clients captivate their audiences and customers and amplify their brands. ​ My journey has taught me you can’t do it alone and relationships are key. I’ve met so many intelligent and inspiring (and yes, eccentric) people over the years, and I have learned something from each of them. At the heart of it all, I'm a people person who loves to forge new relationships and friendships and if we can collaborate and work together than that's a win win for everyone!
