About Carol Beatty

Carol A. Beatty, BA, MA, MBA, PhD Carol Beatty is an educator and president of her own company Warp Speed Training Enterprises. Her belief is that acquiring knowledge should be fun as well as useful and she has devoted her career to incorporating adult learning principles and experiential techniques into her presentations and seminars. Carol is the designer and developer of a large number of online simulations in strategic thinking and planning and in change management. Her next adventure is creating a suite of online modules for developing the skills of managers charged with implementing change projects. An acknowledged expert on change management, Dr. Beatty focuses her research on the areas of human and organizational issues resulting from the implementation of various types of change. She has taught on undergraduate and graduate programs at Queen's University in the School of Business and the School of Policy Studies. For ten wonderful years she was Director of the Industrial Relations Centre at Queen's where she oversaw the creation and delivery of many professional development courses for HR and LR managers. She was also a long-time contributor to the executive development programs at Sauder School of Management in British Columbia.
