Currently I am a Diagnostic Specialist with Katy ISD. I complete Full and Individual Cognitive and Achievement Evaluations for children to determine if they may have a specific learning disability. I was the Special Education Department Chair/Resource/In-Class-Support Teacher at Roberts Elementary, in Houston ISD, for nine years, after two years with FBISD. I then moved to Mark White Elementary, also in HISD. Mark White is a French Immersion elementary school, which opened in August, 2016. At Mark White I was the Special Education Department Chair/Resource and In-Class Support teacher/Dyslexia Interventionist. I finished my M.Ed. in Special Education/Diagnostician in May, 2019. I graduated with a 4.0 and was accepted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. After passing my certification test, I accepted a position with Katy ISD as a Diagnostic Specialist.
