Background
About Carol Measel
I have come out of retirement to help out at the local Camp Fire Office and at Camp Journey. Both of these non-profits are very close to my heart and need the community's help. As a former camper and counselor at Camp Sweyolakan I am drawn back to this wonderful home on Mica Bay on CDA Lake. Restoring 90 year old wood canvas canoes to their original state has become a passion along with returning this camp to its glory! Camp Journey is a nonprofit that give children with cancer a chance to experience camp with their peers. This camp is free to all participants. Having lost many family members to cancer this is another place I can give back and relate to their experiences at camp.
