About Carol Patton

I am very dedicated and passionate about teaching. I truly enjoy being student's "Biggest Cheerleader", by providing them with a loving and safe environment. It is my goal to make sure that students are constantly engaged in meaningful hands on activities and lessons that are aligned with Common Core Standards. I am very consistent in communicating ongoing assessments with students, so that students can take responsibility and ownership of their learning. It is also my goal to make sure that I give students the learning tools and social skills to: apply more than one strategy to their academics, positively communicate with each other, and to cooperate with each other. Last but not least, it is my constant goal to continue to press toward building positive relations with my fellow staff, parents, and students, as well as, building onto professional education always.
