About Carol Scott

I completed a four year course in University of Ulster, Coleraine in Consumer Studies. In these four years of studying I accomplished modules in the areas of food and business such as Food Innovation, Contemporary Consumer Issues, Consumer Marketing Management and Food and the Media. I am very passionate about education and food. As part of my University Degree I completed a one year work placement with the University of Ulster, WAP Department. During this year I broadened my skills in organisation, planning, teamwork, leadership and time management. I worked in a small grocery/filling station on a part time basis for seven years. I actively volunteer at my local church youth club on a Friday night. From final year I secured a Graduate Programme in Scott’s Bakery in NPD & Quality. During this year I also got the opportunity to work with a customer account. I am now with the business nine years and am currently the Quality Assurance Manager.
