About Carol Truex

Carol has over 35 years experience in sales and marketing. After 20 years working in high tech, holding senior positions at IBM, Sybase, McAfee, Serena Software, and Web Methods, Carol chose to leverage her sales management experience, and refocus her skills in Residential Real Estate. Carol and her family have lived in Kirkland for over 30 years, and she is passionate about the Seattle area and its great eastside community. Since becoming a Realtor, Carol’s been busy helping both buyers and sellers accomplish their real estate goals. She is a full service Realtor helping her clients from start to finish, whether it's finding their perfect home, a smart investment opportunity, or selling a property they currently own. After reflecting on her real estate experience she believes that in addition to professionalism and knowledge of the industry, patience and a key sensitivity to her client’s needs and wants is critical to her success. Carol is also busy giving back to this community she loves. She has served on the board of The Kiwanis Club of Kirkland and The Kirkland Kiwanis Foundation going on to serve as President. She also volunteers through the Kirkland Library teaching citizenship and tutoring English to non-native speakers, and serves on the Community Advisory Board at Evergreen Hospital. Carol’s professional success has rewarded her with a strong work ethic, in addition to, excellent marketing, communication, and negotiation skills.
