I started with Falcon Fastening Solutions (formerly Falcon Metal Corporation) in January 1985 answering phones. I quickly moved to A/P&A/R then in 1990 took the position of Account Manager. Falcon Fastening Solutions is a unique Company in that the Account Managers handle all aspects of an Account - sales, purchasing, inventory management & expediting. When the Customer calls for information, I can give them the answer they need QUICKLY. Falcon Fastening Solutions started in Charlotte, NC in 1979 as an industrial distributor focused on serving the original equipment manufacturing market. Over the years, the company has adapted to the needs of its customers. We design and implement inventory management programs for our customers’ Class C production components. The parts represent the other end of the 80/20 rule. They represent the large number of relatively low value parts that are critical to production. The programs we have in place support our customers’ lean initiatives. We develop programs specifically geared to the goals of each customer. Many of the parts that we provide are “specials”; they are produced to a set of specifications defined by the specific customer. Our experienced staff takes a total cost approach to our efforts with each customer. Our goal is to provide demonstrable cost savings in the procurement of these “nuisance” items.
