About Carolin Schramm

I am a results-driven management professional with 15 years’ experience in development sector consulting and impact management. I am passionate about opportunities that create social and environmental impact through commercial business strategies. I have worked as a management consultant in the Sustainability and Climate Change team at PwC UK and as independent consultant for clients including UK FCDO, the World Bank, USAID, Sida, GIZ, World Resources Institute, and UN agencies such as UNDP and the International Trade Centre (ITC). Most recently, I gained private sector experience in my role as Head of Impact for a Nairobi-based architectural design, engineering and construction firm focusing on mitigating carbon impacts in the built environment and working towards gender equity in design and construction. I am an excellent project manager and have a proven track record of leading teams and managing multi-year international donor programmes including challenge funds and technical assistance programmes. I have deep knowledge of designing and implementing monitoring & evaluation frameworks, theory of change development, results based management, knowledge management, learning & communication strategies, as well as grant fundraising and partnership management.
