About Carolina Levy

I have a Master in Design Management. I am a lighting designer for architecture projects (LPH 1 - 3, LPH 5 - 9), electrician (LPH 1 - 3), and teacher by profession. I love to create spaces and atmospheric areas in any place, although I am always looking to maintain the required functions and I care about aesthetics and visual comfort. I have 16 years of work experience in different areas. Some in an employee relationship and others with my own studio. EstudioLevy (Lighting Design - Energy Saving Projects). And acted as coordinator for GrupoFARO (Practices and Lighting Experiences in Historical Monuments and Facades), where we organized activities to produce and experience lighting. So I have worked as a designer of development, space planning, lighting, work supervision, lighting designer, lighting calculation, lighting testing, lighting engineering, console assembly. I have been a teacher in different universities and educational centers. At the moment I am researching how to work with LED and sensor and produce an enviroment like AVATAR and I am an online teacher at the University of Argentina (UTN). I attended the Optical II subject at the Faculty of Physics - UBA and Industrial Processes subject in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering in University Technological National and Basic Electricity in the Electrician Chamber. Have designed luminaries with Holography, produced, marketed and exposed (in some competitions and invitations). I have made special environments. I led night tours with the Central Society of Architects and "Historic Center" Among some of my honours are the First prize in BIEL 2013 Light + Building Certificate ELI (Efficient lighting Initiative) for Lighting design at Castillo Plácido Marín, Universidad de San Isidro. And BIEL 2011 Light + Building Certificate ELI for Lighting design at Showroom Altea. To date I have given 23 conferences about lighting, morphology and communication. https://github.com/carulaLevy
