My name is Carolina and I have adopted the nickname of Caro. I have been in the legal industry now for over 16 years.(Hopefully I did not give away my age, haha). I enjoy what I do. I love Paralegal work. It is facinating to learn about the law and how its constant changes. The hunt for the "loophole" excites me! In the lifetime of my career, I have worked in the areas of Workers' Compensation, Medical Malpractice, Business Complex, Probate, Personal Injury/Negligence, briefly on Consumer Law and Employment Law, both on behalf of the Plaintiff, as well as at Defense firms. I went to Miami Dade College where I studied Criminal Justice and later went to University of Miami and focused on Paralegal Studies to strengthen my skills. I work for law firms, open to remote part-time work and I also do independant legal document prepreparation where an attorney is not needed.**Disclaimer** I DO NOT and WILL NOT provide any legal advice to anyone as this is against the code of ethics and the law. Some say I am a "Work-a-holic" because I am constantly checking e-mails both at home and on vacation (I know, I must stop), I will file documents after hours if needed be and I am a teamplayer, meaning, I consider my attorney or attorney(s) my partner and therefore we will do what we need to do to make sure things get done and done correctly!
