About Caroline Ailhas
My initial background is biochemistry and during my PhD I worked on polymeric nanoparticles and their interactions with membrane proteins. During my Postdocs I worked on peptidic nanoparticles and I then developed polymeric microparticles. These projects were related to drug targeting and drug delivery. In 2011 I joined the R&D department of a pharmaceutical company developing and producing oral solid dosage forms, during 6 years I was responsible for developing medicine from formulation to dossier filling to the authorities. Finally, in 2016 I became responsible for projects and pharmaceutical development of a CMO specialized in manufacturing injectable Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).
