About Caroline Bender

Ever since taking a business leadership class in high school, I have been able to immerse myself in a variety of different situations which push me to grow as a businesswoman. As a sophomore majoring in accounting, most of my classes are centered around business. These classes have improved my proficiency in excel and other tools as well as taught me what it takes to be a leader. Through group projects such as coming up with a business pitch and creating an implementation presentation, using data analysis to solve a problem, and interviewing real-world professionals about their careers and writing a report about it, I have developed my teamwork and project management skills. Outside of academics, I have been able to balance my schedule by staying active and playing club lacrosse while also creating relationships with a variety of people through my sorority. On my creative side, I have a small business where I decorate sweatshirts for my friends and family! I am excited to connect with professionals in the business and accounting world to learn more about learning and growth opportunities.
