About Caroline Casquer

As a Corporate Governance analyst and licensed attorney in Brazil with 7+ years of experience across criminal and environmental law, anti-financial crimes, and compliance, I bring legal expertise to corporate integrity, Board support, and regulatory frameworks with a focus on AML, CFT, and governance in the financial industry. My professional background combines international experience in law firms, banking, and government institutions. I’ve led and supported well-known cases involving financial crimes with emphasis on risk mitigation and conflict resolution, which have shaped my global mindset and strong attention to detail, refined my communication skills, and strengthened my adaptability in diverse environments. Holding a Master’s in Political and Economic Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (2020), my thesis focused on feminist legal theory and labor law, and was fully funded by CAPES, the main scholarship program of the Brazilian Government. In the academic field, I actively contributed to academic networks and coordinated national and international legal congresses. Today, I’m highly motivated to continue improving my legal, compliance, and governance expertise to support Boards and enhance transparency and corporate ethics in the financial industry.
