About Caroline E. Sofo

I’m Caroline, founder of CES Educational Services LLC an educational consulting practice rooted in the belief that every student holds within them a unique identity and potential, and that education is most powerful when it supports the development of both. After 12 years as Chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, I followed a deeper calling to education. Over the past 20 years I have worked with thousands of students bringing a rare combination of analytical rigor and emotional intelligence to my work. I have immersed myself through intentional study, professional training, coaching, and direct support of students and families. I was determined to bring a student-centered approach to teaching, one grounded in purpose, conversation and development of self. My approach is personal, structured and transformative. Whether I’m supporting middle schoolers in building critical thinking and foundational skills, a high schooler preparing for college or navigating the college admissions process, my focus is in personal growth and awareness. I believe education is one of the most powerful tools we have for understanding ourselves and our place in the world. It is the kind of work that builds stronger individuals, stronger families and a stronger future.
