About Caroline Fox

I am an accomplished Biopharmaceutical executive with global management experience in drug discovery, providing strategic direction and leadership to multidisciplinary teams. I'm a solutions-driven physician scientist driving the R&D pipeline by leveraging genetics, genomics, data science, and biomarkers in tandem with traditional methods of drug discovery across all therapeutic areas. I have demonstrated achievements across the spectrum of the biopharmaceutical world, including roles as an SVP at a start-up, an SVP and Site Head at a mid-size company, and a VP at a large pharmaceutical company. I'm also a Board Certified Endocrinologist with extensive experience in clinical diabetes and obesity. Prior to entering the biopharmaceutical world, I developed a successful research platform in academic medicine, becoming world-renowned as a population scientist. I have an established track record integrating high-throughput genetics, genomics, imaging of fat depots, biomarkers, digital data, wireless devices, social media platforms, and smart phone integration. Finally, I created, built and lead CKDGen, a global genetics consortium dedicated to uncovering mutations for kidney disease and related traits.
