About Caroline Frye

I am a self-proclaimed multipotentialite driven to pursue all things creative and a passion for critical thinking, learning, idea synthesis, and connecting with others. Throughout my professional work experience I have gained skills in the digital marketing, photography, and design industries. In my role at Yogasleep, I have executed creative marketing strategies through ideation, analytical thinking, and creating high-quality multimedia for advertising, social media, and DTC. As a Digital Content Creative for VCUarts, I designed materials and implemented strategies to elevate department and student success through social media, print, and email marketing. I previously led communication, oversaw production metrics and optimized the onboarding process as a Department Supervisor at Richmond Pro Lab while I also improved quality standards and retention rate by leading and working efficiently with my team. I have been published in publications including Richmond Magazine, People, and had work featured in the 2022 Richmond Dance Festival. I specialize in editorial styled portraits, low-light settings, fashion, branding, product, and performance photography. In my spare time, I review and photograph concerts for online publications. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020 pursing Criminal Justice and Mass Communications. While I was there, I was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Leadership and Honors organization and sought out courses that offered community service learning and also participated in Soliya Global Connect: a program focused around communication and critical thinking of social challenges and cultural differences. I continued my education at University of Richmond in 2022 taking a bootcamp in Front-End Web Development and continue to challenge myself with new courses through Google and Skillshare.
