About Caroline Gault

I've spent the last 15 years dedicating myself to the fields of PR and communications in fast-paced start-up environments where relationship building and organic growth strategies are critical to fostering community engagement and influencing brand reputation. Alongside regular contributions as a freelance journalist (CarolineGault.com), as well as agency experience, I've led communications strategies with local, national and international reach; managed cross-functional and stakeholder relationships; worked closely with CEOs on strategy and media opportunities; and measured and reported on strategic outcomes. I've also learned to leverage the talents of contributors to achieve project goals under tight timelines and within budget. I believe that my experience working on small teams has groomed me from a natural leader into a confident and inquisitive one; a multitasker who enjoys both big-picture strategy and detailed execution; and someone who thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments. Professionally, I find my biggest source of joy by way of energizing others, building community and (as a writer by trade) producing great copy! More than a decade in, I think through multiple perspectives—consumer, business and media—before developing a communications strategy.
