Hello! I am a licensed professional counselor specialized in general mental health care. I am experienced in working with clients who have substance use disorders, mental health disorders, trauma, and criminogenic needs. I have worked in both individual and group settings. I believe that therapy is both an art and a science and should be approached from a holistic and multicultural perspective. I am passionate about client-autonomy and client-validation. Although I tend to conceptualize pathology and the human condition through an existential and psychoanalytical lens, I utilize a variety of counseling theories based on an individual’s needs. I believe that the blending of therapeutic approaches is necessary for providing care to a diverse range of clients and for reducing personal bias.
