About Caroline Kilpatrick

I fell in love with the clinical setting while I was completing my clinical internship rotation with Banner Health, during the Fall of 2016. The opportunity to make a difference in a person’s life when they have found themselves close to rock-bottom with their health is something I feel very passionately about. I began my career by splitting my time between working per diem for Banner Health as a Clinical Dietitian and working half time at the Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center at Colorado State University. Both positions provided valuable opportunities to interact with different types of individuals with different needs and learning styles. I believe that this diversity in experience strengthens my ability to assess patient needs and provide education in the way that best suits their needs. As valuable as the counseling experience has been, I have also pursued continuing education opportunities in nutrition-focused laboratory values, nutrition-focused physical exam, and am working towards Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition.
