About Caroline O.

After years in HE, I now choose to freelance.(Anthropologist & ethnographer, at SOAS, University of London - checkout my ORCID publications record and my cohort of over 30 successful PhD students now roaming the world doing cool stuff). My writing - fiction and non-fiction - appears across a range of print and online publications. I coach postgraduate students towards Master's dissertation and PhD thesis success. I mentor and support young academics with their publication and career development strategy. I am a core founding member of Coastal Creative, a consultancy offering support to a range of (mostly public sector) clients. With longtime experience and engagement in creative research methods, we offer research, support with project design and bid preparation, project evaluation, impact & engagement work, and support organisations in the process of building genuine co- creation. Coastal Creative is also available on either CI or consultancy basis for academic research projects. We often act as a bridge-builder between arts, social sciences and STEM subjects, and have deep expertise in the field of creativity for health and wellbeing.
