About Caroline Prick

After more than 15 years of leadership positions within the business in Operations, B to B and B to C Marketing and in Business Development I decided that I want to make more impact on what really matters. For me, this is on sustainability. Since almost 1 year I am now Director ESG & Corp Comms within bol. My mission is to make of bol a real frontrunner within Retail on sustainability and set the bar to make shopping in the Netherlands and Belgium more sustainable. We developed a new ESG strategy that will be launched in 2024 with clear targets on scope 1,2 and 3 and on on the most important SDG's. We conducted a DMA and we are ready for the CSRD. We are also a Bcorp and are working on making sustainability a fundamental part of all business decisions we take. The new sustainability strategy will be fully integrated with the overall long-term company strategy to create long-term value for the company I am an experienced and passionate executive leader of transformations during growth and declining periods and currently transforming bol to become a frontrunner on sustainability I have a strong understanding of marketing (B2B/B2C), business development, product, operations, service, logistics, strategy and implementation I am driven to make impact and make ambitious goals happen by using my problem solving skills, creativity and energy. I drill down the problem, set direction and mobilize the organization, leading to a strong track-record on results I am a strong people manager and increased the engagement scores of several teams when I became the manager to really high numbers (9/10) I have a strong passion on sustainability and diversity, equity & inclusion
