About Caroline Roberts

I am seeking research and university-level teaching opportunities. I have recently completed a PhD in Educational Psychology with a minor in Family Social Science and a Certificate in Disability Policy and Services. I also have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Carleton College. My research is broadly in intellectual and developmental disabilities. My current research interests include rare genetic syndromes, self-injurious behavior, interdisciplinary knowledge translation, treatment access, and family level impacts and interventions. Methodologically I'm interested in qualitative methods, mixed methods, implementation science, community-based participatory and action research, and supported inclusion of individuals with severe disabilities in research. I am interested in teaching psychology at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as teacher preparation, specifically to promote the inclusion of students with disabilities in general education settings. As a family member, scholar, and educator, I am passionate about creating a more equitable world for people with disabilities.
