About Caroline Stretton
I am a senior lecturer in the School of Public Health and Interdisciplinary Studies at Auckland University of Technology. I am also the programme leader of our case management degree program. I have expertise in health coaching, case management practice and long term conditions. My research focuses on collaborative interaction skills such as health coaching, and health workforce development, particularly about case management and health navigation. My background is in physiotherapy and my passion is to develop innovative healthcare interventions for people with long-term conditions. My PhD project developed an intervention to improve real-world walking following stroke using health coaching.
