About Caroline Watts

I believe that behind every confident CEO is a team that clears the path so they can lead. In the CEO Office at British Business Bank, I help turn complexity into clarity, protect leadership focus, and keep priorities moving from intention to delivery. Throughout my career in financial services, I’ve built a track record of managing detail while keeping sight of the bigger picture. I enjoy creating headspace for leaders to focus on what matters most, aligning teams around priorities, and surfacing issues before they become risks. What drives me is seeing organisations deliver on their promises, especially when it supports businesses and communities to grow. I thrive in environments where trust, sound judgement, and clear communication matter, and where anticipating what’s ahead is valued. Above all, I’m motivated by helping leaders lead with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
