Background
About Carolyn Grainger
As a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), I bring a wealth of experience shaped by roles as a university professor, anthropologist, high school educator, counsellor, and facilitator. My approach is defined by professionalism, compassion, and a dedication to person-centred practices. As an educator for more than 20 years, I have cultivated inclusive and diverse learning environments where every student is valued, supported and heard. As a counsellor, I am non-judgemental, compassionate, and trauma-informed. Committed to active listening, and ensuring clients feel seen, heard and valued. Drawing from meaningful professional and lived experiences, and clinical training, I aim to combine academia and psychology, to create an environment that emphasizes holistic well-being and the transformative power of compassionate support. I am committed to supporting students, parents and clients prioritize educational growth, self-care, increased resilience and mental well-being.
