About Carolyn Helland

In December of 2020, I graduated from St. Cloud State University with my B.A. as an Academic and Behavioral Strategist in Special Education with Summa Cum Laude Distinction. In 2022 I graduated with my Masters of Science in Education - Special Education from Walden University. I began my professional career as a Special Education Resource Teacher in the school year of 2020-2021 at Maple Grove Middle School. In the fall of 2021, I began working as a Developmental Cognitive Disabilities Self-Contained Teacher at Cambridge Middle School. Some skills that I have mastery over include (but are not limited to): strong communication, project management, attention to deadlines, professional legal document writing, data collection & analysis, collaboration & individual skillset, extensive work with Microsoft Office Suite, personal business owner, and sales. During my non-academic life, I love to be outdoors, spend quality time with friends and family, volunteer for Special Olympics Equine, and support the Challenged Rider Program in my local county.
