Courses taught include: Academic Strategies; Communication Concepts and Skills, Interpersonal Communication, Communication Program and Profession, Communication and Conflict, Communication and Organizational Change, Advocacy and Opposition in the Modern Workplace, Tools for the Digital Age, Organizational Communication, Interpersonal Communication in Organizations, Theories and Application in Organizational Settings, Communication Research, and Bachelor’s Capstone in Communication. Also serve as Lead Individualized Learning Plan Coordinator for the Professional and Liberal Studies degree students. Assist new students with Individualized Learning Plan creation; transfer and portfolio credit placement, open course selection and ILP revisions. Update ILPs as needed. Create re-evaluation requests and updates with transfer credit and experiential learning credit. Work closely with Registrar's Office and Academic Advising. Committees: Served on Assessment Committee 2008 – 2011; Academic Appeals Committee 2011-2013. Currently serve on Professional Competency Committee. Instructional Design: Served on committee to design and create Bachelor degrees in Liberal Studies, Professional Studies, and Communication. Instructional designer for creation of the following new courses: Communicating in a Diverse Society, Group Dynamics and Team Building, Communication and Organizational Change, Advocacy and Opposition in the Modern Workplace, Tools for the Digital Age, Interpersonal Communication in Organizations, and Bachelor’s Capstone in Communication. Also assisted in the design and development of the Open College at Kaplan Unviersity.
