About Carri Polick

As one of the few PhD-trained nurses working in a value-based care industry space, I’m able to leverage my unique clinical and research implementation experience to advance evidence-based healthcare delivery through rigor and innovation. My work translating complex data into actionable insights supports the implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance patient care delivery, reduce healthcare costs, and optimize resource utilization. I have a clinical background in emergency nursing, earned my PhD at the University of Michigan, and further honed my skills through the National Clinician Scholars fellowship at Duke. My research has centered on biopsychosocial health outcomes, health inequities, and care delivery for individuals facing chronic conditions. My overarching goal is to help drive the shift towards innovative care models using rigorous data- and technology-driven solutions to create scalable, sustainable improvements for public health. I’m excited to be contributing to this at the first and only specialized behavioral tele-health start-up dedicated to serving Medicare Advantage and SNP members with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and dementia, inclusive of their caregivers!
