Highly motivated and passionate leader with excellent people skills. Experience managing teams and departments, management, budgeting, and accounting/ finance support functions in the private sector and non-profit arena. Skilled at leading projects from planning through implementation, creating processes, driving results, developing and implementing business initiatives, and achieving objectives for all levels of an organization. Departing from a corporate environment has allowed me to pursue my creative capabilities. I now have my own business expanding on skills in quilting and creating fabric items for everyone. my people skills benefit me in communicating with an individual and digging into the vision they have for an heirloom quality treasure. So many people associate quilting with their grandmother and ancestors. Finding those tucked away treasures in an attic or when clearing out a home from a passed loved one. Quilting is popular, but still considered a lost art. It is a huge labor of love to create a quilt for loved ones. I find a tremendous amount of pleasure and honor to work with clients in making new quilts that generations to come can snuggle with and find confort.
