About Carrie Nolan

With over 20 years of experience in higher education, including 10+ years in academic leadership, I have dedicated my career to creating dynamic learning experiences. As an educator, administrator, and now the founder of AdvenEd, I specialize in bridging academic excellence with experiential learning. My expertise spans workshop facilitation, adult education, leadership development, and faculty support, with a strong foundation in educative encounters, the focus of my Ph.D. research. I developed the Classroom CARE model, a framework that ensures learning environments are relational, reflective, and connected to lived experience. Now, through AdvenEd, I design learning thatives you - offering keynotes, workshops, and immersive learning expeditions that challenge participants to engage deeply, think critically, and grow in ways that matter. Beyond my work, I am a cross-Canada paddler, an advocate for adventure-based learning, and a firm believer that the best education happens when we meet ourselves, others, and the world in meaningful ways. Let’s explore how education can come alive. Connect with me or visit AdvenEd.com to learn more.
