I’ve always been committed to achieving cost efficiency and spearheading business process improvement initiatives that can withstand audit scrutiny. Furthermore, I’ve honed my expertise through a career that spans governmental/ IT auditing, risk management, systems accounting, financial accounting and data analysis within federal government agencies and private sectors. My passion is to make direct contributions to an organization bottom-line through assessing business processes within an organization and analyzing financial data to help aid in improving and sustaining a healthy control environment. WHAT I DO Conduct Fraud and Business Process Risk Assessments, SSAE-18 reviews, develop Corrective Action Plans, and internal control assessments to access any potential risk, while complying with federal laws and regulations. Facilitate IPA walkthroughs. HOW I DO IT Perform internal audit remediation efforts over Business processes and IT General/Application Controls. Analyze data to detect new findings/ collaborate with team and perform necessary research when unforeseen challenges arise. Team Lead Collaborative spirit stimulates team-building, provide mentorship and motivates others to achieve team goals. Engage with people at all levels of the organization, all the while being myself and allowing them to do the same. Problem Solver •Conduct walk-throughs with respective process owners as it pertains to fraud risk findings, additional support requests and remediation efforts. •Executing transaction testing and review of audit samples submitted in order to further validate population completeness of the artifacts provided.
