About Carroll Cauthen

I have 25+ years in leading, organizing, directing and training personnel and 28 years in software analysis/design, financial management and accounting. I am proficient in conducting studies, analysis, and evaluations on system hardware and software changes utilizing Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) level-3 processes. During my career I have been extensively exposed to CMMI processes – from pre-task discussions through final software release. I have tested for compliance with system and program specifications utilizing established software engineering processes (CMMI-3). I am also an expert in evaluating computer system life-cycles utilizing quality assurance methods, techniques, and procedures. Moreover, as a Project Manager, I performed duties including project scheduling and estimating resource needs. I have experience with large ERP users) and small (300 local users) system implementations. I am knowledgeable about hardware and software specifications development (organic and commercial off-the-shelf products). I have worked on all typical operating systems in use today: Microsoft, Unix and Linux. Further, I am extremely proficient in communicating with customers at all levels of an organization (internal and external) and am seeking to increase my professional skills by working toward both my Security + and my Project Management Professional certifications. Regardless of the challenge, or the level of knowledge required for the task at hand, I enjoy the learning experience and have always exceeded my employer’s expectations.
